The second wave was post-war: Milton S. Ray opened 114 acres west of El Camino Real in 1940, and the Mills Estate was subdivided in 1954 as the city's last 20th-century subdivision, with any house finished from 1965 on falling into the years the CPSC links to aluminum branch wiring. The third wave is what owners add today: EV chargers, heat pumps and induction ranges on services sized decades earlier, which is why the city's EV Charger Guide asks for a load calculation against the existing system capacity.
