Common Questions
Do you charge for estimates?
An installation estimate, fault diagnosis, and a safety inspection are different services. Ask us to confirm the scope and any visit fee before booking.
How fast can you get out for an emergency?
We are open 24/7. Call for an urgent electrical assessment and the current arrival estimate. For fire, smoke, or an immediate threat, leave and call 911 from a safe place. Do not wait for a contractor response or use this form for emergency assistance.
Where can I verify the contractor details?
Fox Electric is licensed, bonded, and insured. Check the current business name, classification, and status in the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) record. Ask for any project-specific insurance documents you need before work starts. Verify our license on the CSLB website.
Do you pull permits, or do I have to?
We identify the electrical permit and inspection responsibilities when defining the work. Design, utility, and other trade approvals may involve additional participants. Confirm those roles before construction.
Can you bill insurance for storm or fire damage?
Ask your insurer about coverage, authorization, and required documents first. We can review the requested electrical assessment and repair scope. Insurance payment or acceptance is not guaranteed.
Do you speak Russian?
Tell us your language preference when you contact us so we can confirm arrangements for the conversation.
